This is the first time I tried to pull my hair back into a low puff (hadn’t discovered the loose puff technique yet) without wearing flat twists to hide my broken off hairline. These were taken sometime this past winter. It looks good in these pictures but later my edges just wouldn’t lay down — even after putting gel on my hair and tying it down with a scarf. I’m so sick of people telling me to try that I don’t know what to do…it doesn’t work for me.

    Hi Shelly,
Wow, I haven’t read this post since I wrote it. I sound a little bitter don’t I? lol

Well, I have somewhat of a love hate relationship with my kitchens. I don’t mind my little nappies but I hate the shape of my hairline. Beauticians ALWAYS wanna shape it up, and I won’t let them. It’s very sensative, and I always get hair bumps.

    Too funny. Thanks!

I feel you on the hairline thing, I am not too particular about my hairline either because my hairline runs onto my forehead and its already small enough as it is…I trimmed mine back MYSELF 😦 not that long ago and its grown back…sheesh

Girrrrl…least you don’t have a big ‘ole FIVE head! lol. I’m glad I don’t have a thing about my forehead though…well actually I always wished my hairline in the front started a little lower when I was doing certain styles but other than that I guess I really don’t think about it that much.
